First, let's see what made me want to go to WUnique. It's called 夏日香 (summer scent).

Located in an alley on Anhe road. You can see one small white shop. They open at 12:00 and the day I came for 夏日香 there were at least a dozen people waiting in line before their opening hours. Perhaps it's because the quantity of 夏日香 is limited. I have to admit that in recent years Taiwanese people are crazy about waiting in line for restaurants. It became quite common people would make reservations for those popular dining places unless they don't accept reservations :p

I like the idea of how this pastry shop was named. Wunique sounds like 無(二) in Chinese and it matches the meaning of unique which is 獨一無二

Here comes the dessert.

They also have canelé and madeleine on the other side and mille-feuille is made upon order.

I tried 櫻日(sakura day) and 夏日香(summer scent) this time and I like both of them from appearance, creativity and different layers of the taste.

   

櫻日(sakura day) includes three layers and has mix flavors from sakura, pomelo, lychee and oriental beauty oolong tea.

  

夏日香(summer scent) looks like real lychee but in the bigger size. The outside is chocolate and you can easily peel this chocolate shell and find lychee inside mixed with key lime and shiso.

I would say that this would be the pastry shop that I might come again for their new today's special pastry and if you just come by this area I recommend you to try :)
